FCPX Complete Workshop
Prerequisites:
This course is aimed at all levels of user, but you must have basic computer skills.
Experience with iMovie would be an advantage but not essential
Length: 6 hours (9.30am - 4.30pm with 1 hour lunch break)

Anyone that wants to create professional looking videos of corporate events, concerts, short films or documentaries and distribute them via the web, DVD or Blu Ray.
iMovie users that want to get more from their edits
Experienced editors coming from other editing systems will also benefit from this course
Course content
This course is ideal for existing FCP 7 users coming to FCPX, iMovie users upgrading or new users. Areas covered include the following:

▪Using the Trimming Tools

▪Retiming Video
▪Applying and Modifying Transitions & Effects
▪Applying and Animating Titles
▪Color Correction
▪Exporting to Quicktime, DVD, Blu-ray and the Web
▪Exporting using Compressor
There will be plenty of step by step lessons & detailed explanations of FCPX.
This course is very “Hands On” so a workstation will be provided for the course.
The course will be run by Apple Certified Master Trainer Andy Day.
